Kai Havertz to be announced as Chelsea player in 24 hours

The young German has was allowed to leave camp to miss the last Nations League game to avoid any risk of injury. 


According to highly-reliable transfer insider David Ornstein,

 Kai Havertz is set to be announced as a Chelsea player in the next 24 hours.


The 21-year-old playmaker is going to join Chelsea for just over £72 million plus add-ons, as per the source.


The attacking midfielder missed Germany's clash with Spain on Thursday to avoid any risk of injury, as Chelsea had expected. 


Contrary to previous reports, however, Ornstein points out that Havertz has not yet taken a medical for the Blues. 


Yet, it's almost inevitable that the Bayer Leverkusen player will become Chelsea's sixth signing this summer.

Still, Kai's ultimate target is to win titles with his new club.
